6:30PM IN THE Youth Room
This is an 8-week series that takes students on a journey through the book of Acts.
Students will identify the Holy Spirit as God, who is with us, to help us. They will learn to understand the importance of church involvement and some of the principles the church operates by. We will discover that just like the apostles, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in them.
Students will also learn about the miraculous things that can be done through prayer and that their walk with God will change the way they think and act as they fully obey Him.

Forgotten God: Rediscovering the Holy Spirit
Who is the Holy Spirit, and what difference should His presence make in our everyday lives?
In this Sunday youth series, students will take a deeper look at the Person and work of the Holy Spirit. Based on themes from Francis Chan’s Forgotten God, we will explore why Jesus sent the Spirit, how He leads and transforms believers, and what it means to depend on His power instead of trying to follow Jesus in our own strength.
Through biblical teaching, discussion, prayer, and practical application, students will be challenged to move beyond simply knowing about the Holy Spirit and begin living in a real, surrendered relationship with Him.
WHAT TO EXPECT…
AWKN Youth is more than a weekly gathering. It is a place for students from every background to become part of a real church family.
Here, students can have fun, build honest friendships, ask difficult questions, and grow without feeling like they have to pretend. We worship together, open the Bible, and learn what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.
Our goal is not simply to help students know more about God. We want them to know Jesus personally, experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and become people who reflect the character of God wherever they go.
No matter your story, your background, or where you are in your faith, there is a place for you here.
